New gmail feature? Open links from gmail subject line
I received a email notification from Amazon.com saying that my order has
been placed.
I noticed that from the inbox subject line preview, there was a button
labeled "View order." Curious, I clicked on it and it opened a link
straight to my Amazon.com order. (!!!)
Are any of you guys familiar with with this feature from Gmail--is this
new? How new?--and do you know what it's called? Is this a feature that
will work with just Gmail + Amazon, or will other developers be able to
use this for marketing purposes?
Note: I also have Gmail "Tabs" enabled (Primary/Social/Promotions/Updates
filters) but I don't think this is related to this feature.
